Our mission is to cultivate a dynamic learning environment where academic excellence harmoniously coexists with the individual choice and voice. Education must develop not only cognitive capacities – both the ‘foundational capacities ’of literacy and numeracy and ‘higher-order’ cognitive capacities of critical thinking and problem solving– but also social, ethical, and emotional capacities and dispositions. The aim of education in CIS is not just the acquisition of knowledge as preparation for life in this world, or life beyond schooling, but for the complete realization and liberation of the self.

Our logo symbolizes the core aspect of our educational philosophy. Knowledge, joy and individuality are the elements around which the complete and wholesome individual is forged at CIS.
The individual is refined to his optimal self when we understand the fine balance of joy and knowledge in life. Sun represents the limitless power of hope fuelling our students for attaining knowledge and the skill of lifelong learning. The entire process is supported with inherent joy represented by the smile, or else such knowledge without joy is never permanent. These two elements are instrumental in developing the character and individuality of every person, represented by the humanoid in the logo.
Completing the emblem is the shield which brings together all the elements, resounding with confidence and pride in its quest of a child centric universe.
